Roy Boys

We LOVED Roy Boys! We came before a show at the 930 club which is right around the corner, so it is an excellent location. We enjoyed their hot chicken tenders, Orúña cocktails, waffle fries, crab dip, and biscuit basket. We ordered way too much because the portions were pretty generous. We indulged in their happy hour pricing too which is so reasonable considering the awesome location!! The decor is so hip and fun. I can’t wait to come back!!

Good was 💣🔥. We got the Half Bird with 2 sides the Mac and cheese was delicious as well as the biscuit basket. The barria quesadilla was Sooo good!!! And don't get me started in the Strawberry cheesecake taco. Would recommend. Our server was awesome as well I can't remember his name but he had good service!

All around pretty amazing food at a cheap price for DC. Loved the smash burger! It came with a great sauce, really well cooked bacon and cooked medium. Waffles fries did not disappoint at all and weren’t too greasy. Ain’t Nothing to Cluck With Chicken sandwich was super flavorful. I didn’t love the drunken Mac and cheese or the taste of the Orange Moon cocktail but they didn’t take much away from what was an amazing meal.

This may not be a 5* place for everyone... but if you have an open mind and are a little brave, this place ROCKS! So many delicious things on the menu but, save room for dessert too! That being said the fried chicken is AWESOME... and I don't care for fried chicken usually. They have a special recipe for it! I hope they open more of these up everywhere. Dont miss this!

Have been wanting to try this place for a while! The atmosphere is awesome and I love the art work. Staff is hip and fun and super friendly. I wasn’t super impressed with the oysters Rockefeller but the chicken is fantastic! Great drink menu and the ice cream tacos are amazing. I will most definitely come back!

Good atmosphere, Good company, Good food and good treats, an all around nice spot to chill and go eat. Roy Boys is tucked away on a side street in the Howard/ U street area. The bar is the best of both worlds. You can sit outside or inside while still being apart of the great vibes and interesting conversations circulating around the bar. The bar tenders are friendly. Although the place was packed with the happy hour crowd they were still attentive and personable. The food is good but be ready for a kick of spice with the chicken sliders. The Drunken Mac and Cheese is filling and might be as good as your mama's mac and cheese. My absolute favorite was the Taco Chocolate Chip Sundae. Although smaller than expected it was still very enjoyable and not shareable. The menu is limited but for the busy crowd and quick service to keep the customers satisfied I understand why they have limited options. The only thing I really wished I saw on the menu were wings.The drinks are strong so sip slowly and enjoy yourself. See you at Roy Boys soon. #fallynsfoodieexcursions
