UPDATE: closing for good 1 March 2022 items can be difficult to find, and when they are, it can be difficult to help from the staff (because there just isn't anyone available, and when they are they are usually very helpful). can be out of stock of many items at one time. otherwise, a great alternative to Safeway

I love this location. The clerks are friendly, everyone knows where things are, the store is clean, and carts are waiting where they belong. When things were "normal" pre-pandemic, every time I shopped with my kids, the cashier would offer free fruit to my kids. Some items are little pricier but I can almost always find what I need for that certain recipe. Their fresh fruits and veggies seem to be of a better selection and I don't have to pick around for better quality. Parking is plentiful.

It has the feel of trader Joe's and the products of Safeway. Overall I like going there better than Safeway but keep in mind it doesn't have as much stuff. But for daily groceries or to get eomething quick it's great because it's more compact and way less crowded than safeway. Also their in-store made bread is pretty good!

This is a terrific place to shop. There is always safe and easy parking. The bakery items are five star rated. Their cakes, biscuits, pastries alone are worth shopping at this awesome store. They have really great customer service. Who ever is in charge of their produce should give classes to all of the other markets in the bay area. The produce at Nob Hill is excellent. You can find everything you need for every recipe, even the hard to find ingredients. And everything is fresh, just like it was picked from the garden this morning. I really like shopping at this store!

I have been doing online shopping and curbside pickup here throughout the pandemic and it has made my life much easier! Their website is great, online selection is the best I've found, and their staff are friendly, attentive, and responsive. Items are rarely out of stock and when they are, they offer really good substitutions. My in-store experiences have all been positive as well - really high quality products at reasonable prices. I will continue to shop here long after this pandemic has passed!
