Jimmy's Family Restaurant

A popular breakfast spot for good reason: great service and delicious food. When we arrived for breakfast there was a bit of a wait (which I personally think speaks to how popular of a spot this is) but the staff were so efficient and had a wonderful system down that we, party of 2, didn’t have to wait long to be seated (maybe 10 minutes tops). Once seated, we ordered and received our food within minutes - extremely fast! The food was delicious and their menu had many options to choose from. Four thumbs up from our party of 2. Highly recommend.

My Family and I visited Jimmy's while I was there to visit my uncle who was having surgery. Our first day we had breakfast and it was amazing!! So we decided to do take out for lunch. We ordered three walleye sandwiches and I was sold. Our goal was to eat at several restaurants in the area. We end up eating at Jimmy's three times!! My grandson wanted to eat there everyday. We finally got ice cream and shopped at the general store. I can't recall the name but it has a little bit of EVERYTHING!! We stayed at Walt's Hidden Acres. This was in 2019. We're planning our trip as I write this review to visit in July. If you ever want to visit a place where you feel welcomed and the people are extremely nice and friendly. This town is the place to go. Everything you want to do is within driving distance. Highly recommend it 👌🏾.

Wow, what a breakfast. Our party of four went to Jimmy's for breakfast and was seated after a small wait by a courteous hostess at a very comfortable round table with six roller seats. Coffee came right away in large containers and left on the table after serving. The order was taken and the food came in a very reasonable time even though the place was bustling with people. The staff was friendly, efficient and the food was delicious. What more could you ask from a family restaurant. Go there, you will not be disappointed.

This was a lovely restaurant with a cool "down home" vibe, and quite possibly the best diner style breakfast I have ever had! The waitstaff was friendly and informative and the prices are pretty solid. You won't go broke, but you do get what you pay for. Absolutely delicious, and loved spending my breakfast time here.

Our waitress was welcoming..A "Jimmy" was working the register (owner?) he seemed nice, food came quickly and was exactly the way we requested. Waitress monitored out table well. Overall, I will give them 5 stars, since everyone made the experience comfortable and left feeling glad we stopped to eat in.

I met up with an old navy buddy here. The food was good the waitress was attentive but after we told her we had served together 43 years ago, she kept glasses full and and checked often enough to make sure we didnt need anything more but not enough to interrupt. We also stayed longer than our meal and slightly past closing and they allowed us to talk as long as they were cleaning up. We tipped accordingly with no regrets and will meet there again when I'm in the area. The food was good but the whole stop was made even better by their understanding.
