Ninja Express

The express bowls are delicious and filling! Quick, friendly service through the drive through. Having grown up next to the ocean, and eating seafood regularly, I noticed that the calamari I ordered was VERY thick. Not bad, but THICK slices that were quite chewy. I'll probably will skip ordering that next time, but the bowls are out of this world!

Noodles were just okay and a lot of meat with them. Chicken teriyaki bowl with fried rice was amazing. Staff weren't exactly friendly but they had an answer for every question. Ended it with getting some fried oreos and cheesecake... Those were amazing as well! Light tempura fry so it isn't over done.

So happy there's a good Chinese & Japanese restaurant in town. Been here several times and never been disappointed. Sushi always tastes fresh, fresher than some of the sushi places I've been to on the coast, believe it or not. Good bento boxes. Good yakisoba. Good sushi. Just good stuff! The outside appearance is not at all representative of the food.

So we ordered general soes, with rice. Rice WAS really good . Bill wS $22. Rice was perfect, fresh and tasty. But, the chicken for general soes was very bad. The meat was chewy, did not have a good flavor, wasn't good at all. The sauce was good, but chicken pieces was not fresh, splinters consistency.I told workers, showed them I didn't eat it, they didn't offer to give me money back or exchange. Waste of money.

There are MAJOR issues here. One the building is falling apart inside and out and the owners don’t seem to care.Two the staff seem half awake. They answer everything with a nearly in decipherable mutter. In fact one worker was sleeping at the front right behind the cash register. Three, and this is a big one, the awkwardness. There is an unbearable silence the entire time you eat here. There is zero music playing. And while you chow down the guy at the front desk will likely be watching you and over hearing your conversation. Four, the cleanliness. Our table was sticky. I kept my arms off the table so they wouldn’t stick. This is not somewhere I would order sushi from. If they can’t clean the tables do you really expect they store the sushi in a cleanli manner?
