Darrell's

After living in Birmingham, one of *the* BBQ centers of the country, I've been hard pressed to find really good BBQ but Darrell's fits the bill perfectly. All of the BBQ is excellent, extremely tender and well seasoned. A variety of sauces to accompany, and outstanding side dishes including all the usual suspects that you expect to find. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Darrell’s has a simple, cute, atmosphere, very friendly staff, speedy service, and good food. My sister and I visited and shared the veggie baked potato, haddock fish fry, with cucumber salad side and potato salad. The fish was excellent, one of the best we have had. The baked potato didn’t live up to our expectations, but was still good, just not as exciting as we hoped. The cucumber salad was really good as well. If we are in the area again I would definitely try it again.

We walked in for first time. Madison waited on us and she was AMAZING! She was young but mature and had a great, bubbly personality, asked us relevant questions on appetizers, made good suggestions on entrees, and was all in! Hands down one of the absolute best waitresses we’ve had in awhile! The gumbo was very good and flavorful, the crawfish only was very tasty w remoulade, and the fried okra w sauce was yummy! The pulled pork was good w the sweet sauce, sweet potato and broccoli was very tasty! Very clean restaurant! We will be back to try more!

Outstanding service and great food. Our order was ready very quickly despite it being during the lunch rush. Very generous portions. Our waitress was very accommodating and friendly. The place was clean and smelled great, including the men's room. The various sauces weren't all that original, but good nonetheless. Their baked potato was massive. I'll definitely eat here again. I had the brisket, which I highly recommend.

We had Darrell's cater a party for us and they did a fantastic job. The food was DELICIOUS and Darrell made sure we had enough so we didn't run out. He was easy to work with and followed up multiple times before the event. Delivery was right on time. Everyone loved the food! Stopped by the restaurant to return some things and the 'brick and mortar' is so cute! Will definitely be coming here to eat and also use him again for catering! Thank you Darrell for a great meal! Sorry we were so excited for the food we forgot to take photos before people went through the buffet!

Best barbecue we've had since moving here...Joe took good care of us this evening. Ribs came and I was pleasantly surprised at the portion. Taste was great, too. Okra came with sauce ...Best I've ever tasted. For real. My guest had pulled pork which he tried with 2 of the BBQ sauces. Definitely will return to this place again!

Excellent food and service with a smile, by Jolene, just as they claim! Amazing food was delivered quickly and cooked perfectly. Had the 1/4 rack of ribs with shrimp and two sides. Green beans were fire and cole slaw was creamy the way my mom makes it. Nice to have cornbread with butter and some country music. Highly recommended!

This place was a 10 out of 10 for quality of food , service was excellent 👌 I got there traditional bone in wings they are honestly the best wings I've ever had! My husband got the Hungry heftier and loved it the proportions are really generous I only thought of taking pictures when we where halfway through the meal sorry lol it was honestly that delicious we got it and went to town asap! Ray our waitresses was so friendly and I loved her attitude she made sure to tell us the days special and was very attentive to our needs! For what we ordered they are very reasonably priced as well ! My husbands meal alone would feed 3! So happy we came! We will definitely be back again next time we come up from Arcadia!
