Dixie's Cafe is truly a special place along highway 126. The food is excellent, and the prices are fair. The service is welcoming, and the quiet inside the cafe is great if you're looking for a peaceful escape.

Best Coconut French Toast, you can find! Today though, I opted for the corn beef, hash & eggs. My dining partner had the denver omelette & he was super impressed. Today was his first time here. I have been going here for years. It's my hidden secret spot. I love the owners, so much. The food is super affordable, the quantity is hefty & they make a mean, hand dipped, chocolate malt.

Food was o.k. staff needs to practice health codes to run a restraunt wear mask, gloves. Wash hands often and stop scratching the body parts.hair on head etc. I didn't like seeing that please improve on health codes.

If I could put no stars I would, There was ants everywhere my wife found one in her food and the young man that was serving us kept pulling his pants up and touching himself in places that should never be touched when you are serving food never again 🤮 gross and unsanitary.

Old cold coffee. Biscuits dry and the gravy sucked. They need to be shown how to make a good rue!! I know they can cook because the eggs were cooked perfectly and bacon was nice and crisp. It makes me sad because this place was awesome when i was a kid!! I think if they put a good effort into hot fresh food this restaurant could be reborn!!

Food was good diner fare at a reasonable price. Chili cheese omelet with hash browns and home made biscuit with honey quite good.
Decor was dated - late 1970’s- and bathroom could have used a cleaning and an update, but ambiance was like going back in time and owner/chef was very friendly
