Highly recommend. Cute little shop. After visiting, I heard the double baked almond is a must try. Will try that next time! We went on a weekend right before Valentine’s weekend so the shop was full of Valentine specials. We tried three cake slices. Exotic cheesecake was recommended and it was very tasty. Crispy chocolate raspberry was the best! Chocolate pecan was so-so. Pricing was really reasonable too when comparing against Thierry in Vancouver downtown. I would visit here more often now for sure! Sadly they close on Sundays. To dear Thomas Haas management - you gotta open on Sunday!

Like the vibe of this cafe, nice decorations, with smooth background music. The matcha was good. My son likes his ice latte. We also had the cherries and pistachios mousse cake, it was pretty good too.

Having read some of the other reviews I’d have to concur the staff taking our order wasn’t that friendly and didn’t seem to want to answer questions or be there. If your passionate about something it’s 2nd nature to promote your product or sell your services but not here. Everything is higher priced and good quality but that is not the barrier to sale vs attitude is as we would have bought more if staff was more friendly but got the opposite vibe when asked what kind of chocolate cake they have. Ended up getting the exotic cheese cake, matcha yuzue, chocolate cake, chocolate croissant. All tasted good even tho it sat in our trunk all day and not too sweet or cheesy. Ice coffee and flat white were descent as well but on the small side.

Highly recommend the double baked almond croissant! So delicious but they sell out fast. Be prepared to wait in line and be in a busy cafe. There are always A LOT of people in the space

This place always gets so busy! And no wonder. All the pastries we've had were amazing. But my all time repeated nimber 1 has to be the double baked almond croissant. In a span of 1 hour we saw nearly 3 sheets getting cleared out. It was also nice to see the famed Thomas Haas himself interacting with what looked like a regulars from the neighbourhood.

Thomas Haas has a variety of things to sell. We just had to try their cakes. We went a little late (4pm) so limited selections. We still made some delicious choices tho! Highly recommend for those chocolate lovers out there or those who are into pastries and coffee. FT Strawberry Mousse + Compote w/white chocolate shell. Paired with a London Fog. Milk Chocolate w/Passion Fruit Mousse, paired with a Cappuccino. Also bought some Madeleines that had lemon and orange aftertaste. It was crazy refreshing.

Best hot chocolate ever!! They have four kinds. Dark (regular), extra dark, Aztec (dark chocolate with spice), and kids (milk chocolate). It's funny that if you want milk chocolate, you have to ask for a kid's drink. Shaming us milk chocolate enjoyers? 🤔 Just kidding. A great place for a warm fall/winter treat :)

Visited Thomas Haas on a Friday afternoon (around 1). No lineup when we got there but there was a lineup after we had gotten our food. We had the iced passionfruit tea, ham and cheese croissant, pain au chocolate, croissant, hazelnut Danish and creme brulee. Overall the ham and cheese croissant and the regular croissant were my favourite. The ham and cheese has a very distinct cheese flavour somewhat smoky. The croissant is nice and crispy. Lots of layers - good lamination. Usually I would get their double baked almond but they had just sold their last one which was disappointing. My least favourite was the hazelnut Danish. I couldn't taste any of the hazelnut and the raisins made the danish extra sweet. The creme brulee we had was very creamy and not overly sweet. It was also very cute and came in a reusable jar. Overall would recommend Thomas Haas for their croissants. The prices are decent and lots of variety available
