Saraj Cafe

We used to love coming to Saraj because the food was great. But we will no longer go there as the customer service is appalling! My wife and I ordered two different full meals and she wanted to taste mine. The server said that this isn't allowed and "because we shared they have to charge a shared plate fee!" Had I got my meal to go and eaten it at home there would have been no fee, but this kind of goofy staff decision makes this a place to avoid (unless you want to take your food home.)

Stopped by Saraj for lunch today to place an order to go. Ordered a couple Gyro sandwiches for my wife and I. While I waited- the first thing that came to mind was how clean and simple Saraj was. They have about 10 items on the menu which I can appreciate. I love simple menus for one reason- the food tends to be really fresh. They have about small dining area with a TV. I would say they serve a authentic Gyro. They start with a homemade grilled flat bread, well seasoned lamb, some lightly grilled onions, tomatoes slices, and tzatziki sauce. If you like Gyros- give this little place a try.
