Valkyrie

As one who really appreciates a good cocktail, this place is fantastic! I rank it alongside The Patterson House in Nashville if you know that joint. Austin, our bar tender, was superb. He was friendly, not pretentious, attentive and helpful without lingering and interrupting, and exceptionally knowledgeable. We gave him a sense of what we liked (spirit forward, floral, smokey, etc.), and he nailed it every time. Never had the same drink twice. My wife and I have visited a few times from out of town. Never disappointed. And the bar itself? Stunning.

Very lively and lots of people. For a night out this place is fun! I will admit though it’s kind of dead outside. Not a lot of bar options maybe 6-7. But Valkyrie stand out as the best of the little bunch of bars. Great service, Great drinks, friendly staff! It is about $12-15 for a cocktail but that’s relatively normal for a night out.

My wife and I have tried many of the best-rated cocktail bars on the East Coast (and several in Europe), and we both feel that Valkyrie deserves a spot right at the top. Fans of craft cocktails that take risks, layer multiple flavors, and achieve incredible balance will love this place. The bartenders, have completed incredibly intensive training with the 600+ spirits on the wall, love to share their art, and will absolutely take care of you if you tell them the flavors you’re looking for. Couple notes on my favorites: Hadrian’s Wall (pictured): bitter, smoky, adult as hell Mars Arraqs - clean, herbal, complex The Weakness - smoky, balanced Like Clockwork - a chocolate orange negroni! On Wednesday - licorice, strawberry, herbs - weird and amazing

Full transparency when we came to Tulsa, we were not expecting to find an amazing cocktail bar. A friend who locally lives here recommended this place. Not only do the bartenders know exactly what they are doing, but the drinks are some of the best I have ever had. The fruit and the root were by far our favorites, but I would recommend anything here. Even if you ask the bartender to make something for you, it will be amazing no matter what. 10/10.

I enjoyed stopping by this location. It has a good little patio, and the inside is not crowded because they don't allow standing room. There has to be a seat open for you to get inside, so it's never crowded. The options of drinks are endless they have a giant wall of liquors, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend stopping by and to the tasty drinks. I'll come back some time.
