Teaspoon

Everything about this place is awesome. It's a cozy restaurant in a cute plaza. Went with my girlfriend for brunch on 12/7/23. Staff was amazingly attentive and caring. Food was delicious. I got the Croque Madame and she got the Crab eggs benedict. The proportions of food were extremely filling and satisfying, barely fit on the place. The price was also unbelievable. Wondering how we got away with paying less than $35 for the full meal. 11/10 will be back.

Reservation made for outdoors. We were seared quickly. Waitress was very fast, efficient, and nice. We first shared the Croissants with cream and berries. They are huge, so 1 half should be good for 1 person (they were absolutely delicious, as the cream was sweet, but not too sweet). I ordered the Jalapeno burger (which comes with a tiny basket of fries with it). The jalapeno was sliced in half and covered the full burger. I thought it was going to be extremely spicy, but it was not. The seeds were taken out, and it was the delicious taste of a roasted pepper. I got to try a little of the Chicken Chilaquiles, and that was also great (next time I will order that one, as it is a little spicy, which gives it a lot of flavor.

Since everyone seems to order the bubble waffle, I decided to order the French toast. I got the one with berries, and found it to be underwhelming and kind of dry. It was just okay. Service was good and the atmosphere was nice. There was no wait - I believe I came in around 1030 am. I would have loved to sit on the patio, but the hostess did not ask, and since they were fairly busy, I just went with it. I did notice empty tables outside once I was sitting down, but did not want to be a hassle and switch tables.

9/26/2023: The patio was busy but Tyler kept up. Thanks, Tyler! (Nice tattoo, too.) Considering that today was a record high temperature (and I'm visiting from northern Ohio), the fans were welcome. I ordered the chicken & biscuits which were fine - the gravy a little bland, perhaps - but w/the tasty potatoes I was satisfied without the add-on eggs. It was moderately difficult to cut through the crisp chicken & it's biscuit with a butter knife. I'm sorry I didn't think to ask for a steak knife.

Teaspoon is one of my favorite places! Food is delicious and so many variety! Our family especially loves the bubble waffle and breakfast pizza! Ambience is homey and welcoming. The reason I left one star out is the lack of reservation option. The wait can be so long esp about 10am onwards, we would love to go back especially in the weekends after church but the long wait is discouraging. Hope they modify this to diminish the wait. Overall, still a great place for drinks and food!

Nice place to eat that provides many options for if you have dietary restrictions. The staff is always very professional and friendly and the food so delicious! Indoor and outdoor seating is available and it’s located inside a nice plaza. It’s a very good portion for what you’re paying. Very worth it.

Phenomenal place for breakfast and lunch, they have options for both. Service staff is awesome. The food is very delicious. I hade the croque madame, the eggs were perfectly made and the sandwich was scrumptious. The side salad was a nice compliment to the entree. I loved the Irish coffee. My wife enjoyed the savory crepe, the mushrooms were very well done. With excellent food and service, I see why they are busy.
