This pub has a great reputation, and rightly so. The staff are friendly, it has a good range of drinks and it is classy inside. The atmosphere was great for a quick drink on Sunday afternoon. There's enough seating inside and plenty outside too for those that want it.

Had a wonderful dinner here. We ordered the steak tartare, steak and egg, and truffle parmesan chips. Everything was delicious. Service was friendly. And the ambience was great. The pub looks so beautiful inside with stone walls and classic interior.

Had a wonderful lunch for two at this pub.
The seafood Keralan curry was truly excellent - best dish I've enjoyed in a pub in a very long time. Wonderful flavours with plenty of seafood.
The roasted Cornish chicken breast with basil and hazelnut gnocchi, and crispy potato skins was excellent.
Very highly recommended pub for really great food and good service. Total cost with drinks £57. We left a tip.

Excellent experience. A warm and friendly welcome from the staff on my way in, and great service the whole way through. Some of the best pub food I've ever had. Wonderful selection of drinks. A perfect meal in all aspects.

Very nice location if you are in Truro looking for a good cuisine and tasty food. This pub is a perfect restaurant for your evening. Meals are well executed and elaborated, a real pleasure. Do not hesitate to try the small plates and starters, they are amazing and tasty.
It was a pleasure to discover and eat at the wig and pen, congratulations to the chef and the team !
If we come back to Truro, for sure we will come again.

The food here is amazing. We had the crab cake and gazpacho and it was one of the tastiest plates of food I have had in a while. Lovely waitress as well

Great welcome even though I arrived a little earlier than their official opening time.

A quiet local pub. All you can expect from a local and more. Friendly staff but slow service. The food was delicious but the risotto was bland. Great selection of drinks and food with a sunny beer garden and vintage aesthetic. All in all a very nice pub.

This is my most favourite pub in Truro. I often come here for a drink after work but we decided to try the food out for my mums birthday recently, there were 9 of us all together and everyone was so pleased with the food and the service. I had the scallops to start and the hake for main, the scallops were cooked perfectly and the hake main was absolutely delicious. All the staff were welcoming and super friendly. I can not recommend it here enough!
