Food court restaurants don't usually get a mention however Ruby Thai should.

This is one of the very popular joints in the Eaton Center that gets a good crowd. It boasts a fantastic display with a lot of items each in in a unique and attractive colour.

We tried the dim sum platter of 8 assorted and it was surprisingly very good. Since we could mix and match we tried all from pork, shrimp and chicken and found them all to be good.

If you like dim sums then Ruby Thai is worth a try if ever you're in the Eaton Centre.

Really disappointing pad thai - overcooked limp noodles with no flavour. I did like the sesame chicken better than the BBQ chicken, which had an odd tasting sauce/seasoning. The food was quite greasy tasting in general, which made for a heavy meal I couldn't even eat half of.

Not the best lunch I have ever had. The fresh mixed vegetables would have been fine, if there weren't a few overcooked pieces of broccoli mixed in with the fresh stuff. The breaded shrimp would have been fine, if a couple of them wouldn't have been a bit soggy. The Pad Thai noodles were just ok.

Tasteless pad thai, though the mixed vegetables were okay and the sesame chicken was fair. There was not much flavour to any of the food served, sadly.

I got the Hofun style noodles and right away was glad that they were vegetarian... However they were not the greatest in comparison to another spot that I love... But if I didn't have anything else to compare it to I may have liked it more... It was a little oily or something and kind of bland but still ok. The broccoli was good but to be honest the spring roll was one of the worst that I have tried ever. It was an ok experience. They gave me free water when I dined in and didn't suggest I buy any which was good and their service was alright! Wouldn't return for those specific items though.

What can I say about food court Asian food? It tastes fresh and is greasy and portion sizes are large. Lots of selection from BBQ chicken to dim sum. It's still the food court though.

Great Food-court Thai/Chinese. Not sure what's with the previous reviewers (maybe folks in T-dot are spoiled by too many great eateries........jk). We recently visited this gem in the Eaton Centre food court and were all very impressed. The Thai food items are better than the Chinese-Canadian stuff: pad thai was OK, the fried rice was great and the sides (beef red curry, coconut shrimp and bbq chicken) really shone. The portions were huge (2 small combos would be enough for 3 regular appetites). They even have Shanghai style soup-filled dumplings........... and all this at food court/cafeteria prices (wish we had one of these here in Edmonton)!

Undercooked or burned. "Lemon" rice was hard and dry. General Tao chicken was dry and undercooked. Spicy shrimp was also a bit dry with some hard parts. Food was cold. Won't be back here.

I ordered beef soup and got noodles and beef drowning in soy sauce. Way too salty. Cashier also not very pleasant

At first glance it looks.... Dry hard rice bits in the fried rice, slimy un-battered chicken balls, yuck! Please try a little harder. Don't think I'll be back for a while.
