Pita Pit

Not sure why this place isn't more popular with UT students. The service staff was polite, patient, and courteous. Not to mention clean. Having worked in food service before, I know that people can have disgusting habits when handling food. But the cook came in, greeted me and washed her hands. Really alleviated my anxiety to see proper care and hygiene. The food was delicious and the veggies were fresh - I got the steak pita 😋. Only wish they had kalamata olives 5/5.

I probably won't come back here for a while , i got a very unwelcome vibe, they had huge order before I came in, so it was like they didn't even want to take my order, someone finally did, but she didn't give me the amount of cheese I usually get and was charge for extra cheese when I barely got it, seem like everyone was new except on person, he seem highly stressed but I guess at least he did try to accommodate to the best of his ability, that guys def deserve a raise as for the other I would hire some new people just a thought

Stopped in to grab lunch at 11:40 AM and apparently they only have one staff member working and they were in the back making noise but never came out to help me. By 11:47 I still saw no staff so I walked out and went elsewhere. There’s no bell to chime to get their attention, and I tried yelling “are you guys open” 2x and no one ever came out of the back. Apparently they didn’t feel like serving me I guess. Waste of time. Won’t be back.

Its always my easy to drive place for food close to the university engineering campus. Their service is good. I visited many times and have rewards aswell. But looks like they have limited staff and hard to maintain if they recieve multiple orders at a time. Their computer is broke recently and had to take orders on papers. Hope they get more staff soon. Nice food though.

We had a medical rep stop in and cater lunch from this place. All I can say is that this place should be out of business. My sandwich was wrapped with old lettuce on the inside and small bits of chicken, tomato and some guacamole-type of spread. My wrap had more substance than what was on the inside. I also had a cookie which was not cooked all the way, and it looked like someone just smashed it with their hands!!! This is unacceptable quality of food and I will never go here to eat anything! Next time I will also let our rep know not to purchase items or cater from this place! It should be out of business!!!

We arrived 45 min to close after calling to tell them we were on our way. We were the only customers in the restaurant but there was one person in street clothes standing around on their phone in the dining room. The only girl working (so probably a crew leader) gave us the worst customer service I've had in months. She was clearly impatient while waiting for us to order. She constantly kept giving looks to her friend. When I warned her I would want grilled vegetables she did not acknowledge the question and responded by pointedly asking about the protein. Let me be clear. They were NOT BUSY. Every response she had was rude, short, and laced with attitude, rolling eyes and looks to her friend who was clearly hanging out to keep her company. Her meats were not stocked. She had to run to the back to get more falafel. And the vegetables were poorly stocked considering how close it was to close. Fairly certain her friend called her and warned her when she was in the back because she attempted to be fake nice when she returned. I love the food at Pita Pit but I appreciate good customer service more. It is not that hard to be nice, attentive, and friendly. It is literally your job. I will never return to that location again.
