Great looking, clean restaurant. Breakfast all day plus other options. Not just a coffee place. Large portions and quickly delivered. we enjoyed breakfast and great service.

A Thunder Bay classic. This establishment has helped me get through a hangover or two back in the college party days.
The lumberjack breakfast is my favorite. It has always been there for me when I needed it the most. 2 strips of bacon, 2 breakfast sausage, 2 eggs, home fries, toast. Beneath all of that, you will find 2 delicious Finn pancakes.
If I end up at Java Hut for lunch time I will generally get a Burger and some Fries, or maybe a toasted Denver Sandwich.
They have fair prices and friendly staff. They also have a kids menu and cookies that are the size of frisbees. Juice Monkey Smoothies are also available and berry tasty too.

This has been a staple in our home for years and years. Joe is a great host! The menu is vast to suit all tastes. The prices are very reasonable for the food you get. They will also accommodate any requests you may have within reason.
I love the breakfast and the hot turkey.

Super cute diner vibe place. If ypur looking foe the "local greasy spoon" but without a ton of actual food grease this place is great. Came with the family enjoyed ll of our food. You order at the counter and pay, then the server brings it to your table.

The staff and the restaurant is nice, but I think they need to increase their speed and capacity of making food.
Just waiting for almost an hour to get a simple order of chicken sandwich. Customers time should be valued more.

Of course you like the Java hut. It is meticulously clean, has righteously crispy home fries, big portions, enough coffee to turn your eyes brown(er), and a cozy, congenial atmosphere that keeps repeat diners coming back.
To the gentleman who had burnt pancakes, I must suggest a dine-in experience for your next stack.

I don't go anywhere else for breakfast every time I go to Thunder Bay for my work trip. Very friendly environment, fresh and healthy food, delicious meals and of course excellent coffee. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
