Hands down the best poutine place in town serving the authenticity and specialty of Quebec. Wait times are about 15mins for pickup and outdoor seating is provided as well. The menu has a lot of variety but the only issue is the price which is on the higher side. If you can justify the price then go for it.

La Poutine was amazing! The owner was so personable and had excellent recommendations! We leaned that original poutine is made with a thinner sauce, that really helps bring out the flavor, and boy was she right! This was some of the best poutine I've ever had! The escargot Poutine was absolutely delicious! The sauce, cheese, garlic, and escargot really complemented one another for an amazing dish! We will recommend this place to anyone who comes to thunder bay! We hope we get to come back one day!!

Amazing poutine. Reminds me of La Banquise from Montreal. Lots of interesting flavors. Giving 4 stars because you can’t really decide on the size for the other flavors, only the classic poutine. I love poutine but I can’t eat too much fries. If there is the choice to do a smaller size for the poutines, it’ll be 5/5! Food is great and service too.

Hands down the best poutine in Thunder Bay! We're visiting from Toronto and this place was a definite treat! Had the Montreal smoked meat and veggies poutine and they both were divine. Not to mention the staff were super friendly. We'll surely be back everytime we're in town!

AMAZING! The owner (I assume) Bridget and her super friendly staff were fantastic. The food? Equally fantastic! This is a mandatory stop for anyone traveling through Thunder Bay regardless of if they’ve had poutine or not.

Super delicious, very friendly staff and easy walk-up takeout window! Got the Newfie Poutine (stuffing, curds onions, cheddar) with vegetarian gravy🤤🤤.
Huge menu with options for everyone's dietary needs/wants. Will be part of every trip to Thunder Bay. Thank you!

I have some favorite poutines from Quebec and Ontario, and now La Poutine is one of my favorites! The fries are crisps, the gravy just salty enough and the cheese squeeks perfectly. Highly recommend this place as the staff is friendly and their poutine is exactly the way it should be!

Buffalo blue chicken & Pierogi poutine are incredible but don't take my word for it, come down & try it for yourself. There is such a huge menu with so many yummy choices it will be hard to decide what to get! This cute little restaurant will be your new favorite place downtown to eat.
