Tried this place out with a friend for the first time; safe to say it’s a great spot to grab a casual bite to eat. The restaurant has a great atmosphere: it’s light, airy, and modern inside, and offers plenty of seating with a great corner view of downtown. They provide “healthy alternatives” to the build-your-own bowl trend while still maintaining a good balance of flavor. That said, you may be better off getting one of their menu items rather than building your own if you don’t have a good idea of what will go well together. Tables could’ve benefited from a simple wipe-down, but the pricing is very reasonable and the staff are very friendly. Check it out!

Good food , big portions, I almost finished everything! My only complaint would be their choice of music. This is a very modern/hip food service restaurant. They need to play something a little bit more calm and relaxing. They were playing hard-core, Spanish Twerking music, like I was in Armory in Square. Geeze. Deff killed the vibe!

My go-to is creating my own bowl and for $15 (including a protein) I end up with a huge portion size worth 2-3 meals and quality food. The service is fast, friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect for a quick lunch or casual dinner. My only complaint is that the bacon isn't crispy when I've ordered the chicken club.

I am proud to say that Original Grain is my favorite place to eat in Syracuse. I stumbled upon this restaurant while trying to find a place that had açaí bowls, a nice atmosphere, and a small business. Original Grain’s atmosphere feels like you are at home and it brings a warm, cozy feeling to you. What is better than an amazing atmosphere?!.. their food. I would HIGHLY recommend their Smoothie Bowls(specifically the PB+J and the Puffy). I can not WAIT to come back to Syracuse… just so I can come here to eat another Smoothie Bowl! Also just a little tip for the workers making the smoothie bowls… and more ice to the blender.

Could not be happier with this place as a lunch spot! I was able to place an order online for pickup, and it was ready for me as soon as I got there. The restaurant itself is very cool, it has good music playing and everyone seems happy to work there. It just gave the vibe of "come hang out with us". My bowl (kung-pow chicken) was delicious, I got it on a bed of soba noodles. The serving size was plentiful for the price, and everything was fresh and seasoned perfectly. They gave a generous amount of sauce too on the side.

If you haven’t tried this place, then you must! They have breakfast and lunch options which are fantastic. There’s coffee, smoothies, smoothie bowls, sandwiches, toasts, salads, etc. A healthy twist with really good flavors. Service is quick. There is dine-in as well as grub hub or Uber eats for delivery. Only flaw is they are closed on Sundays. Street parking, no parking lot.

We got some take out on a Thursday at 1130am. I ordered the go go gyro, it was so so good. My bride ordered the Mediterranean and she loved it. Service was friendly with a smile. Ordering was simple. The place looked very clean and decorated nicely. The parking is on the street and it is metered. I am looking forward to trying other items on the menu. 10 out of 10.
