Old Chicago

Love Old Chicago and this is one of my favorite locations. I always have great service here and the food never disappoints! This past weekend I was returning from a trip to Vegas and thought it fitting to try the Hangover burger. It was delicious and definitely worth it! I usually always get the pizza because it's some of the best I've ever had, so I'm happy I tried something new for once!

We had visited old Chicago's many time and we never had this terrible of a service. We ordered our foods and drinks. Everything came out great. When we ordered another beer, 10 minutes passed, no beer. Our waitress realized it, but still no beer. We asked to speak with a manager and our bill. We got our bill but no manager. We paid and left.

We used to have great luck coming here. We've had multiple "beer tours in a night" and countless meals with friends. In the last 2 years, we have received nothing but bad service. The dining room is rarely busy yet there is always an issue with the kitchen, bar or both. There is usually close to a 45 minute wait for our food. Most of the time we get drinks quickly to pass the time. Last night, we had made a reservation a head of time, by the time we arrived (right at 6), our reservation had been given to another party. The host was confused that the party he sat was not the party that had made a reservation for 6pm--- We arrived at 6 - ordered dinner by 6:30 - many drinks were not out by 7:30 and most of us were not served dinner until close to 8! Our consolation --- close to $5 off of our bill..We will not be returning to this Old Chicago.

We usually go around lunch and the daytime weekday bartender(I won't post her name because it isn't my name to share, but you will know if you go) is AMAZING! She is 15 stars, my only complaint is that on a Monday at lunch she and only 1 other server were on the floor(from what I could see, and no host!). That is on management, not the staff. This woman can handle 15 different tables/checks better than most servers(my former self included) like a boss! Great lunch specials too

Everything was really good. Our waitress started off strong then after our food we were very thirsty. She wasn't horrible just forgot to check on us. The food was great. The only other bad thing was the highchair was higher than usual to go with the tables but because of the step the highchair couldn't get close enough to the table. That resulted in dried food and him having to sit with us and jumping around. So if you have a child that needs a highchair I'd sit at a regular table to avoid that issue.
