An iconic railroad car type dinner across from the train station.
Everything on the menu ranges from excellent to some of the best in the states. Try a Taylor Ham and egg on a hard roll, a true Jersey classic.

I have Been getting breakfast from here for 8 years, I’ve tried other spots in NJ. And I can honestly say this place is consistently the best. Breakfast potatoes are amazing, steak is fresh, eggs are fresh. The pancakes are mega light and fluffy. Even the toast is amazing. No seriously it is!! Because it’s so good it’s always popular, so be prepared to wait on a Sunday or order pick up! Just so good. Great food and service.

This place is CASH only.
Ordered Ham, egg and cheese. It's good. Also ordered Mexican omelette. It was delicious. Must try. Mexican omelette comes with hash, toasted bread(white, whole wheat or rye) and butter on the side.

Small Diner with a huge personality. I came during the rush and had a seat at the bar. The wait staff was busy but are very attentive. Traditional American breakfast with huge portions. Had so much fun with the bar/counter waiter. This diner had so much charm.

Every time I drive by, I think, I should eat there! I did. Food was 4 out of a five. Pretty damn good, nit amazing. Onion Riggs are huge and great, coffee good. Service was a 4–really nice, typical diner. Bit obviously. It’s the actual diner car from the 49s? Its wonder !

Adorable. Good old fashioned diner . Excellent food with big portions. My daughter had Mexican omelet-delicious, my son in law made his own omelete, my husband had breakfast sandwich w/lots of bacon and biscuits/gravy ,I had 2 scrambled eggs w/ham -all are dishes came with toast and yummy hash browns (homemade-not the shredded kind) 2 of us had coffee=47.00 and our waitress was so nice. Going to go back,a lot of choices

My family and I always stop here to eat when we’re in Summit. It’s a classic for a reason! Cash only but there’s a Chase atm right across the street. My family’s favorite is the meatloaf sandwich, but I also love the lamb gyro (with Greek fries). There are a lot of great Greek flavors and dishes as well as diner classics. The location is really unique though quite small so if you go during rush hours you may have a wait to be seated especially in cold weather when outdoor seating isn’t open.

This place is great! This is as old school of a diner that you'll find, in an original factory built diner building with its original stainless steel and woodwork intact. The kitchen is right behind the bar. We had a good breakfast here recently, and will certainly be back. Cash only, and parking is on the street or in a municipal lot.
