I spoke to a friend who highly recommended Firejacks, especially the steaks -he'd had the 16oz rump. I thank him for that from the bottom of my heart.
I went with some members of my family and I ordered the ribeye and from the very first bite, my taste buds exploded. And I can say that the same is true for each and every bite after that.
Another member of my party had a chicken burger which again was excellent.
The next day, I met my friend, and we both were drooling just talking about the experience.

Honestly.. this venue deserves to be busier than it is.. located in the “wrong” end of the Stevenage leisure park, the food was excellent and surprisingly well priced!
Service was a little slow, but not unreasonably.. a good atmosphere, but would have been improved by a few more staff on the floor (very much felt like a “wait your turn” experience)
However, we went with 10pax, and the over all experience was a positive one!

Saturday afternoon isn't always the best time for restaurants so that's the atmosphere, I've been before and it does pick up. Service was quick and when I requested the Carolina reaper sauce to be on the side and not all over my chicken that's exactly what I got, a small pot of the very hot but very tasty sauce. Food was good, I had the special. Carolina chicken bites, they were lovely to start, and then the steak on garlic flatbread with rocket and cheese. Also very good.

Very good service. Greeted by the chef - American dude - so friendly and refreshing to have such a nice greeting. All staff were helpful and didn’t sit around chatting (like you see in a lot of places). Food was so lovely, empty plates all round. Would recommend and return!

Amazing food as always from Firebacks but a bit crowded and busy for an afternoon meal. Starters were delicious but mains slightly underwhelming. On the more expensive side for a meal out at a chain restaurant, but mainly Firejacks ticks all the boxes for a grown up or date meal out. Be warned the full rack of ribs is a huge portion and car parking outside is always very busy!
