Slice

Slice Pizza has some of the most amazing specialty pizzas I've ever tasted! And I love their Detroit themes. You can't go wrong ordering from here with such fresh ingredients, and their place is spotlessly clean! You can always find great deals, and a smile from their friendly staff. I'd like to throw a special shout out to their employee Jess. She's the s**t! Always goes above and beyond for customers, and is extremely proud of the Pizza Slice brand.

Sign says gourmet, and that it is! Build your own pizza, or choose from their original and unique specialty items. Fun names for the pizzas and sides (check out the menu!), Sanpellegrino soda in the fridge, flat screen TVs in the dining area, and car shows in the summertime! My favorite menu items are the Honolulu Blue deep dish, Stuffed Cheese Sticks, and the Cinnamon Slices.

I've ordered here plenty of times, even met up with some friends to dine in and watch a game on the TV in the dining area. Great food, not your run of the mill pizza place. The staff is always friendly and smiling when you walk in. They always go above and beyond, from the quality and presentation of the food to the uniquely 'detroit' menu down to the way they treat every single customer that walks through the doors. They are a hidden gem in the overcrowded market of pizza places around here and I can't wait to see what they will do next.

We bought Groupon for Slice that was offered a little while back and finally got to use it. We ordered a Canfield and The Book Cadillac to share. They were both awesome pizzas (their ranch is homemade too). You pay a little bit more for the gourmet pizzas, but its worth it and the owner (Dave?) stood and talked to us while we were trying to figure out what to order since it was our first time. Great food and great service.

What an amazing pizza joint! They have menu items that you wouldnt find at your normal generic pizza restaurant, and the variety is great! The food is unique and delicious, the entire staff is friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who even has a slight appreciation for pizza pies.
