Gator's Dockside

Recently visited with family for a couple of weekday lunches. Service and food was very good. The place was not too crowded and there were plenty of servers and support staff. The Gators own hot sauce is delicious...just the right amount of flavor and heat (I chose to have with grilled chicken tenders). Although not my thing, the Spinach Artichoke Melt also got very good reviews. I also had a cheeseburger that was done just right and tasted terrific. There is a wide variety of food and we had sandwiches, burgers and tenders...all were very good. There are still menu items I have not tried, so will definitely visit next time I am in the area.

Started off not so great. Hostess sat us right behind her station. After waiting about 15 minutes and no one coming to even bring water or take a drink order we asked her who was our server, instead of waiting any longer we moved ourselves to the bar. That was the best move!!! Savannah was our bartender and brought our drinks , made food recommendations and provided very quick service. The food was very good. But Savannah was the BEST! Upon return I won't bother sitting at the tables I'll go directly to the bar and enjoy the best service you can get there. Thanks for out to her and her manager that took time to say hello.
