Black Rock Steakhouse

10/10 recommend this restaurant. Especially if you're looking for a nicer place to go to for special occasions!! It's obviously pricey compared to your average chain restaurant, but this is WORTH IT. Every penny is worth it. The steak melts in your mouth, the Bang Bang shrimp is packed with flavor, the mashed potatoes were creamy, generous glasses of wine, everything was amazing. Shout out to our waitress Kayla who gave us a HUGE cake for my husband's birthday. Not a slice. A WHOLE CAKE. We will be going back and we will be bringing EVERYONE with us.

For someone who feasts on NYC steaks, fries, burgers etc.. this sure was coming up against a lot. We felt incredibly care for by Branden, his service and hospitality were incredible. I order the soup of the day (curry chicken) with the parmesan truffle fries. The competitive pricing of the $10 dollar burger won the hearts of many of my friends, and out of respect for the establishment on of us ordered a steak. The food itself was okay! I can't say that I was incredibly blown a way. the presentation of the food was nice but some of the flavors lacked. All that to say, I'd go back becasue the staff are friendly!

Amazing night, I was hoping to take my gorgeous goddess out to brighten her day, and it turned out to be magical. Our waitress was attentive but not intrusive, she even double checked to make sure food allergies were addressed properly. So, what surprised me the most was the reason Black Rock has it's name, I had the ribeye on the rock, which means I got a perfectly cooked RAW STEAK (which true appreciation of the superior meat should be raw) on a lava rock at 700F. So, I could eat the steak as is, or cook it more each bite on the lava rock that was the plate it was served on. Absolutely delicious. PS: waitress was so happy to see two people so in love, she remarked on it as we left the room. A perfect night

Hands down the best steak I've ever had! Well worth the hour drive here, and I'll be back for more! I chose to have the stone which cooks in front of you, it was amazing. I got the filet and it was by far the best I've ever had. The pic shows it raw basically but it cooks fast on the stone. Absolutely delicious.

We read about the unique experience of cooking food on the rock, which really means for you to cook your own steak on a hot rock at your table. It was fun, and kept the steak nice and hot all the way thru dinner. My husband and i enjoyed the restaurant. Our waitress was very helpful and nice. I only wished i made out reservations for an earlier time. Making reservations is a must.

The food was spectacular to start...if only Katie G service was even half as good it would've been a good experience. In our 2 hours she visited our table twice. Our bus boy served us our food and gave us our take home containers. Katie simply served us our beverages and our bill...that's it. Our bus boy deserved the tip. Refills and dessert weren't an option after searching the entire restaurant for 20 minutes to find Katie. I expected so much more after all the ranting and raving of the locals. My compliments to the chef
