Hoodoos

Visited Hoodoos twice during our stay at Zion Ponderosa Ranch. First trip was for Ice Cream. We ended up getting wraps and sandwiches that are freshly made to order in the store. We enjoyed our wraps at outside seating and tables. The ice cream is located in an out building. With a covered patio area and seating facing an amazing view of the mountains. Ice cream was fantastic. Visited a second time for travel snacks. They sell quality cheeses and meats, hummus, muffins, bread and a small selection of beers and beverages. They also have some camping supplies that you may have forgotten or didn’t know you needed. Bottled water packs are quite pricey so be sure to stop before you get close to the park for those. Great place. Staff was sweet and everything was very clean.

Disappointing. The ice cream wasn't anything to write home about and the servers couldn't answer questions about one of the gelato flavors. Even asked for a small sample taste and they wouldn't do that. My wife didn't want 2 scoops and asked if they could do a "single scoop" with 1/2 of one and 1/2 of another. Since it was "2 flavors" they wouldn't do it. Would recommend another ice cream shop.
