I ordered via Doordash, a few weeks back. Just getting to review because I was craving the oxtails again. The yams were good! The greens could’ve used some turkey neck juice and a lil salt/pepper. Cornbread was decent. Decent portion size. I had some at night and the rest for breakfast the next day.

Not in Ennis very often and typically go to another local place for lunch but Granny Dee’s Pierogi had the menu posted on the window and it caught my eye. I decided to give it a try. I asked that they choose a sandwich for me. They decided on The Ennis Hot Czech. It was a huge deep fried pork loin sandwich with pickle, mayo, ranch, and Cayenne pepper hot sauce served on a poppy seed bun with hand cut potato chips. It was excellent and it was a great portion for the price. Thank you and I will be back!

OMG...the food is amazing!! smothered pork chops and oxtails which both come with rice and two sides. Great portion sizes, and the cornbread is like no other..I will definitely be returning! Thank you Granny Dee's!!

Granny Dee’s was tasty. We had ox tails, black eyed peas, cornbread, cabbage and greens. Good atmosphere. Short wait - went Friday at 1 PM.

Wow, if you pay extra for substitution, you should get more than a skimpy serving very disappointing in portion size . would like to get my monies worth. Taste was good 👍🏼 just not enough for the mo ey.

I grew up in the church. I am a PK… Baby I stopped by Granny Dee’s after work today because I did not feel like cooking. I was a little hesitant because of the reviews. I said to my husband let’s try it anyway. We got the fish special and a slice of old fashion pound cake! All I can say is God was glorified!!! If I had ten thousand tongues I could not thank Granny Dee enough!!! The food was hot, fresh, and very good. Whew chile my feet almost got happy! I can’t speak on the previous bad reviews however it was well with my soul…. If you can trust God you can trust Granny Dee! God bless you granny! May everything you touch prosper..I know I am having fun in this review but I am oh so serious. I know good food when I taste it I come from a line of cooks. Its a straight up 5 out 5 for me!!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

The peach cobbler was amazing , We got an Oxtail plate and the fish platter it was sooo good. the oxtails were cooked perfectly falling off the bone and just the right amount of spice. fish was super tender and breaded perfectly. Definitely will be back !

Best catfish I have ever had. Amazingly moist and tender. Husband had the brisket and said it was the best he has ever had. Sides were also great.

I’ve been ordering via DoorDash from this place since 2020 of November and today was the first time going there in person with my boyfriend because I wanted him to try it & I told him how delicious the food is! Long story short, he loved and and so did I, as always! This is BEAUTIFUL SOUL COOKING
