It was my family’s first time at this place. The food was okay. It wasn’t overwhelmingly amazing, but it was good! If you’ve ever been, the atmosphere & some of the menu items kind of remind me of Mia’s Table. Some of the food could’ve been better, but the lemon herb grilled salmon I had was the best thing I tasted besides the brisket queso! The catfish & dumplings had good flavor as well! There were a few things I wanted to try that they were out of & would take 20+ minutes to make, so I would return!

Excellent food at great prices. Huge servings, had the fried mushrooms and fried pickles, both delicious with ranch. Then I had a BLT, it was so good and had a monstrous amount of bacon on it. And their peach tea is a 10 out of 10 along with their great service.

Took the family to Palestine location after helping my daughter move to Palestine. Pretty young lady named Fay waited on us. Very professional, kind and attentive. Good service and good food. My daughter and I will certainly be there again upon my visits.

A Delightful Taste of Home!
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cotton Patch, and I can't stop raving about the incredible experience I had there. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I had stepped into a warm and inviting slice of country heaven.
The atmosphere is cozy and charming, with rustic decor that immediately sets the mood for a delightful dining experience. The staff was not only friendly but also genuinely passionate about the food they serve, which always makes a difference.
For the main course, I ordered was a great. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the portion size was generous. It felt like a comforting hug in the form of a meal.
What truly sets Cotton PATCH apart is the attention to detail and the commitment to providing an authentic country dining experience. The ingredients tasted fresh, and it's evident that they prioritize quality above all else.
Whether you're a local looking for a taste of home or a visitor wanting to experience genuine country-style cuisine, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. I left with a full belly, a happy heart, and a newfound appreciation for the art of country cooking.
In summary, earns a well-deserved 5-star rating from me. The combination of outstanding food, a cozy atmosphere, and friendly staff make it a true gem in the world of dining. I can't wait to return and explore more of their delicious offerings.

The atmosphere was nice and tidy. The food was amazing, with huge portions and outstanding prices. I have heard mixed reviews about Cotton Patch, so I was weary to try it out. I am so glad I did! Nothing but a full belly and enjoyable food! I would recommend and will be back to visit in the future. We had the fried flounder. The fried green tomatoes all the food was fresh and very tasty!

Had Chicken Fried Steak plate with jalapeño gravy and sides of mashed potatoes and baked squash. Also had tea to drink. Gravy would be too much for people sensitive to spicy food. However, it was still good. Would make sure to take mashed potatoes with gravy since it is a bit dry without it. Baked squash is very good. Atmosphere fits country vibe. Not busy on Saturday evening so is a good alternative to Mia's Table. The rolls are good, but if they use margarine if that is an issue for some people.

I frequent this place for lunch. They have great chicken fried steak and chicken tenders. The Staff is very friendly. The food is normally very consistent. Friendly faces, and down home Texas comfort food. Try the squash casserole & fried okra side dishes with your meal. The free rolls are scrumptious !

Wasn't busy around 3:45pm on a saturday. We were greeted and seated immediately. Anthony, our server, was attentive and took our order. Just as the slogan says, Home Cooking is correct. We started with the fried green tomatoes. I had the chicken fried steak, mashed ash potates, jalapeno cream geavy, black eyed peas and cornbread. My wife had chicken and dumplings with black eyed peas. It tasted like my mom's cooking. Give it a try. You will ❤ it 😃 Visited again on President's Day. I was seated by their wonderful general manager, Denise. My great server, Shelby, was friendly and helpful. I tried the chicken fried bacon for the first time. I also ordered the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes with cream gravy, black eyed peas, fried green tomatoes, all prepared by Chef Valliesa, WOW, magnificient meal ! ! !

First time visiting this little restaurant, from the start it was a slow reception, they are currently understaffed do to COVID-19 like most everyone else, so with the place having only 5 seated tables, and with 1 group of 3 in front of us, it took about 10 minutes before we were seated. I had taken some great atmosphere pictures to share of the place but it was requested by the general manager that i delete them do to some of the current employees didn't want there picture, which was fine, so i deleted those pictures, you will need to visit the restaurant to see what it looks like on the inside.
The rest of the experience was fine, we had a wonderful waitress who took great care of us, made sure that we were informed of some of the favorite foods they serve, and was very attentive, even when the kitchen forgot we had ordered fried okra, she made sure we got it.
I had ordered the meatloaf with their mashed potatoes and cinnamon apples. Although the amount of meatloaf was small, it was still very tasty, they say everything is made fresh and they kept to their word, the meatloaf tasted home made, we also ordered their chicken and dumplings, it is made with fresh ingredients, and not skimpy on the amount of chicken. Although i preffer thicker gravy for my dumplings, it was still very good.
We had also ordered the fried green tomatoes, which again was fresh with their own batter, also the corn bread skillet was great, it has fresh corn, cheese and honey baked in, they apparently used to have jalapeno cornbread but stopped, would have loved to taste it.
Finally for dessert we tried their butter cake, this was a very sweet desert, it was a bit strong for me, but all and all it was good.
I recommend going to cotton patch if you love good old fashioned home made meals.

We loved the ambience, friendly service, and the quality of food as well as the portions were above and beyond! Highly recommend the fried green tomatoes they were the best we've ever had. The bloody Mary was amazing. The chicken fried pork was superb, everything about it from texture of the meat to the amount and style of breading was perfection! The kids macaroni and cheese was especially good as well (we are picky when it comes to Mac and Cheese) Black eyed peas were really good as a side as were the mashed potatoes! Will definitely be coming back!!
