Coffee Central

The coffee drinks I usually get taste great and the staff are very nice and helpful. The furniture seems to go for look over functionality because it looks aesthetically pleasing, but they're not entirely comfortable, for me at least. It's definitely a good place to get your dessert-coffees, but then leave. If only the feel of the furniture was as welcoming as the employees and atmosphere feel.

Unfortunately, 1 star for service, not for quality. I ordered a large coffee with half and half. She proceeded to put in fat free half & half, and I politely asked her to use real real half & half. She argued with me that fat free is good and the same consistency as real creamer. I reiterated that I requested real half & half, and when she finally relented she threw the container on the counter and stammered as she retrieved a carton of the real stuff. She acted very put out that I wanted real cream. This is very off-putting as a customer. I am trying to support local business, but I'll just go to Starbucks (coffee is actually cheaper) if this is the service I can expect. Just tried CC again 4-15-22, still 1 star. Ordered a 20 oz iced coffee with sugar and half & half. Large board says $4.00, they charged me $4.50 + $1.20 for cream and sugar! I asked for the manager, and she said "the board is wrong", with a smug attitude. I asked why I was charged for cream and sugar, she just smiled. Just know that you may pay more than you expect, and the "extras" here are not free.
