Phoenix Cafe

Not what I expected! So from the outside, I probably never would’ve thought to visit this cafe. It honestly doesn’t stick out and catch your eye. Once you step inside, it’s got a pretty retro vibe and the staff is super nice! Kind of reminds me of the typical old school diner. Lots of items available on their menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I got the Somerville wrap which has fresh mozzarella, spinach, portobello mushroom, and fried eggplant. Could have had more flavor. Like I wish I had asked for some hot sauce. Prices are decent.

I Always order for pick up. Ate inside once. They always make the food as you ask and that's what I like about this place. Food was excellent.. only have ordered breakfast every time I've came here and its been on point.. Prices are decent and not too expensive like most things on this block.. Staff is really nice too.

Our waitress was rude. I asked for cheddar cheese instead of american and when my food came out it was american cheese. My friend asked for it to be fixed and waitress got upset over that.. I also kindly asked for some butter that was spreadable because the butter i was given to put on my waffle was cold like straight out of a fridge. The waffle was also cold which didn’t help with melting the butter. When she went back to talk to kitchen staff I could hear her speaking spanish to them. I guess she didn’t realize my friend and I are bilingual. So disappointing overall
