Makin Dough

Best pizza I’ve had in a very long time. We’ve just moved to Cairns and I felt like a wood fire pizza. We tried our luck with Makin Dough and it’s safe to say this will be our regular take away pizza place. The Bufala pizza was exactly what I was craving, crust cooked perfectly, so fresh and tasty. Pick up order was ready in good time despite being a Friday night. Very reasonably priced too for how good the pizzas were. Thanks again!

For the price we paid this pizza and garlic bread was terrible. The garlic/pizza bread was burnt and most of it was inedible. Didn't taste like there was any garlic or maybe it was just burnt off. The pizzas just tasted like they had cheap ingredients and really weren't that nice. The supreme was $25 and it tasted like they just threw some cheap ingredients on it and put it in the oven. Would not recommend.

We wanted to treat ourselves to some authentic Italian pizza so decided to give Makin Dough at Smithfield a go. Couldn’t have been more impressed!! The pizzas were sensational! So flavoursome, with just the right amount of toppings and the perfect base - a bit crunchy and a bit chewy….delicious! We ordered via the Makin Dough app which was intuitive and didn’t miss a beat. And the other great thing was that, even though being a Friday night they were absolutely kranking, the Pizzas were ready in record time. Would highly recommend Makin Dough Smithfield next time you’re keen on a delicious, authentic Italian Pizza!
