Southern Delights

We have frequented this snowball stand a few times. I am very sad to say we will not return. My husband visited this stand to get 2 snowballs; one for him and one for my toddler son. Upon receding the snowball, he noticed that it was really dry so he asked for additional juice. The lady at the window got frustrated and told him that she will have to charge for every juice. Charge for extra juice??? When the snowballs were almost white from being dry?? I’ve NEVER heard of being charged for extra juice and I’m from New Orleans. They always give you extra juice no charge. Mind you, this is AFTER he had paid $4.35 on his card (with $1 tip) she was so rude that he just requested a refund. They refunded him $3.45 in cash. Kept the tip. Lost a customer (4 actually since we’re a family of 4). SLIDELL LOCATION- judging from the condescending responses from the owner on google, don’t expect much of a resolve.

Awesome snoballs many different flavors and other items as well. Not just snowballs they have ice cream,shakes,sundaes and many other snack and treat choices. Staff is always friendly and fast. Service with a smile. Great place for families with lots of kids. Fun all around. Go try it out. You wont be disappointed

My boyfriend and I visited this place today around 7pm. This place has the BEST snoballs in Slidell. Hands⬇️ The prices are more than fair, the snoballs are bursting with flavor, the worker was really nice, and the ice was EXTREMELY SOFT. We will definitely be back again! Thanks Southern Delights for making our first experience with you all a pleasant one.- Ashley/Sean

The snowballs are wonderful. But the fact that they don’t open the window by the outside patio for kids. They literally make the children that walk there stand in the car line with the cars. I have never in my life seen anything like that at any other snow ball stand. It’s a safety hazard. I don’t know how the owner is ok with that?
