Had a meal here tonight for the first time under the new management. It was amazing. The food was excellent, the service was great and all served with a big smile. I would recommend the Acropolis to anyone who enjoys good food at a reasonable price with great service. For a more personal recommendation, try the sharing meat platter, you will not be disappointed.

I ordered takeaway from Acropolis the food was the closest I've had to Greek food. The only thing I would add is that the chicken shewers and salad lacked flavor

Lovely Saturday night at acropolis! Food was to die for! The calamari and halloumi to start. Best calamari I have had for a long time! Perfectly cooked. Then the mixed and chicken gyros. Mains lush. Staff were extremely attentive. Great date night in Shipley. Will be sure to return if we are ever in the area!

Thought we would try this place .
I can honestly say great venue and the food was 5*
The portions were good and the staff were friendly and helpful.
We had the mixed grill platter for 2 and traditional pork gyros and baklava .
Absolutely fantastic food, way beyond our expectations and great value.
I will definitely be coming again to try more if the menu and will be recommending this place to my friends .

Absolutely fantastic food! There was a bit of a wait between courses but the lovely serving staff explained it and gave us a discount for our wait. Also the food was totally worth the wait, my husband was transported back to Crete with the dolmades and the Greek salad was absolutely delightful! We will definitely be back!

Very nice evening for a special occasion. Staff were attentive, friendly and responsive. Food was lovely and very large portions for the price - great value for money. Nice to speak to the owner afterwards which provided a personalised visit. Will definitely be returning! No pictures as the food was ‘inhaled’!! :-)

Me and my partner got a takeaway from acropolis, we had the chicken and halloumi gyros. Wow they were amazing! Staff were really friendly and the service was great.
The gyros were so full and tasty, will definitely be visiting again soon😊

What I can I say? Brilliant atmosphere, lovely welcoming staff and delicious food. 1st time eating at the restaurant but had a few takeaways, I can honestly say one of my favourite places to eat. You won't regret trying the food here.

I brought my friend here for a meal who was visiting from America.
We had the best meal. Portions were huge and everything was freshly cooked and very tasty.
The staff were so friendly and attentive. The cocktails were also fantastic.
Please give this small business a chance and you won't regret it.
