Misimi

We get take out from here all time time despite it being pretty pricey for sushi. I get the vegetable combo roll since they don’t have avocado cucumber listed as roll online on its own. I’ll have to call next time as I got an extra charge since I don’t like the asparagus and asked for two avocado cucumbers instead. Would appreciate a call before being charged. Vegetable rolls are definitely over priced for the ingredients. It’s not like it’s organic. :( anyway this has never happened before and pretty disappointed. Guess it’s a sign to stop eating out! *bonus I paid extra for cucumber skins. If I’m paying $19 I’d appreciate not only getting cucumber skin in two cucumber avocado rolls. Thankfully Grubhub refunded my order.

This restaurant offers traditional Asian cuisine and several Hibachi grills for the Hibachi cooking experience. We did the latter. The food was good and the presentation was typical with nothing that makes it unique, but good and what would be expected of this type of restaurant. Its not ridiculously expensive, but the one knock i have is they absolutely refuse to substitute anything on the Hibachi menu if requested. Apparently, even if willing to pay extra for that request. So be it, the meal was good and we would return.

My wife and I took our son-in-law out for his birthday. Four of us had a Hibachi. The entire time we sat at the hibachi, there was a serious cold draft. I asked the waitress about it and she said it was normal. Our dinner were cold in minutes. Not making our dinner enjoyable. At the end of the dinner a employee came over flipped a switch and the cold draft stopped. Everyone at the table was wearing the winter jackets trying to stay warm. The food was good and enjoyable while it was warm. Just do not like to freeze while eating dinner.
