Dairy Queen

I’ve stopped at this Dairy Queen location several times on drives from DFW to Lubbock, and I’ve always received great and quick customer service. Traveling through with a baby and a 6 year old. Went in thinking it would be quick. Ordered 2 hunger buster combos and a kids chicken strip dinner. 20 minutes went by, and we finally received 2 burgers. No fries or kids meal yet. Then we were informed they were out of chicken strips, but they could “cut up some chicken” for our kids meal. 10 more minutes went by. Nothing was great, customer service was horrible. Wanted to charge us for fries because they forgot to charge us for a combo even though we said multiple times while ordering we wanted combos. Very frustrating. Lack of customer service. No owning up to their mistakes and errors. Do not eat here. Go to Sonic instead. Ugh.

As soon as we walked in the girl at the front turned off a light to a seating area. It was a few minutes till 9 and I asked if they were closing. They dont close until 11 on Saturdays, but she said she went to high school and was trying to get everything ready to close. She threw the cups across the counter at us and they landed on the floor. I was going to get the steak fingers, but I saw a sign for a deal on a chicken basket and said I would get it instead because it was only $5. She rung it up as a meal that cost more without even asking. She was very bubbly, but still came off as rude. Very disappointing... smh. We had to wait awhile for out food, but at least it was fresh.
