The establishment is by the Dollar General. The Kansas City Strip Steak, is what I always get. They have a decent gin n' tonic. They have a new age old style jute box. A decent amount of seating for family and friends. Their steaks are cooked to order. They have a simplistic salad bar. Overall, not bad. Designed for the Seymour locals. But welcomes anyone.

Walked in and was hit in the face with cigarette smoke 😕 so disappointing, almost left but we decided to stay. Lady behind the bar immediately greeted us. Told us to have a seat and she’s be right there. Very friendly and got our drinks promptly. We ordered shrooms😋😋 they showed up in a few minutes very good. They have scratch made ranch dressing... my favorite!! Our meal came with a salad and she brought us our bowls, since this was our first time, we had no idea what to do with them. We obviously gave her a puzzled look and she said help yourselves to the salad bar. I didn’t see it when we came in it was down on the lower Landing. It’s small but everything was really fresh. We both ordered filets with loaded potatoes! It’s been a while so I hope they didn’t overcook it! Patience is a virtue, trust me! It did take a little bit for our food to arrive but it was worth the wait. That is one of the very best steaks I’ve ever eaten. It was so juicy, tender, and flavorful AND cooked perfectly. Bravo to the chef! Our waitress continue to do an excellent job throughout our dinner as well. I will definitely be back to enjoy another steak even though they allow smoking in the business. I think the time we came was a good choice. It wasn’t as busy, so there were less smokers.
