A small cosy Crowded Environment an absolute masterpiece I came back from filming a movie and this was the sort of place i deem perfect for waiting for a train home.

Great pub...just like going back in time...fabulous selection of beer ales larger etc etc....lovely friendly staff and great ambience a breath of fresh air these days like finding the real genuine pot of gold for sure well done everyone involved don't change a thing! It is a lovely little pub services great food and drinks. It is very accessible since it is only a short walk from the train since it is just across the platform. You get the roughly every 30-minute train service to watch, which runs to and from Brighton via London Road (Brighton), Moulsecoomb, Falmer, Lewes, Southease, New Haven Town, New Haven Harbour and Bishopstone.

Great little pub with good music (80's and that) with a great selection of beers and spirits. Busy and bubbling most of the time.

Visited Steamworks as part of the CAMRA ale trail and I have to say it’s definitely one of the best tap houses I have visited.
The selection of beer is brilliant (including a rare old favourite; Directors Courage) the quality of beer is also excellent, you can tell they look after their cellar lines.
The service was friendly and knowledgeable and the clientele was welcoming (especially important as we visited with two young children)
The fact that it’s situated within the station makes the visit that extra special.

We came in on a Sunday Morning, for a quick Orange and Lemonade before starting our hike to Eastbourne.
I would really recommend this Pub for a starting point to everyone that’s out walking. We received such a warm welcoming from the locals that were in there and serving.
Love the Steam works! Such a cosy spot for a beverage, even on a Sunday 🙌

Cosy and friendly. Steamworks is a clever use of space... a conversion of the old waiting room at the railway station but the character has been retained. Great coffee at a reasonable price. I've heard that the beer is excellent, but it was a bit early in the day to indulge. 😉
