Krispy Kreme

I organized a fundraiser with this Krispy Kreme location...this is the second year. What can I say besides wonderful? The donut order was perfect (both times), the owner is very easy to work with, and the employees are great, very courteous. A pretty simple way to raise money for your charity, whether it's helping out a 501c3, or a kid's sports team. Now about those donuts... (!) Everyone I sold to was happy with their purchase, I'm sure they'll be eager to order again. I tried a "cake batter" filled donut for the road, but I'll admit it was a bit too much for me. I lean towards the traditional fruit filled ones that don't taste so "sugary" but there's a reason they sell them- they must be popular! Lemon for me next time- yum! I love the cute paper hats they have out, grabbed one for the niece and nephew. Also other stuff available for purchase like hats, t shirts, etc. Maybe next time...

Doughnuts were great as always and staff were friendly and helpful. However, the reason I am giving this particular location only three stars is because it seemed that it was not as clean as other Krispy Kreme locations that I have frequented. More attention needs to be given to cleanliness. I will be fair and state that they seemed pretty busy and it was snowy and wet outside the day that I was there.

Stopped specifically to get some of the holiday donuts. Very disappointed! Got several of each of the different variety of Christmas donuts. Each and every single one of them had a filling that was maybe the size of a dime around inside at most. Every single one! That meant that over 80% of the donut was just dough and tasted bland. They were decorated nicely, but not up to par of what we normally get. The regular donuts without filling were as good as usual though. Just beware if you’re trying the Christmas ones.

OMG YUMMMMM! They honestly have the absolute best donuts in this ENTIRE area!! I don't get them often because they are a distance from where we live and my partner and I are diabetics. But we were nearby and I was starving so we made a pitstop. Best idea ever! As usual they had an amazing variety to pick from and I had such a hard time deciding! Unlike Dunkin donuts, their selection is very limited and honestly they aren't that great anymore. They had some new choices that they didn't have before like oreo cookie and strawberry shortcake! So I got one of each as well as their traditional favorites. I got in the car and didn't waste a second! I grabbed the oreo donut and scarfed it down! Ooooh decadent BLISS!!! Not only did it totally taste like an oreo cookie but it had the most delicious chocolate filling I've ever tasted! Near the end, I was taking tinier bites trying to make it last. I swear it was the best donut I think I've EVER eaten!! And nope, not exaggerating! And the strawberry shortcake was just as delicious and also tasted just like its name! My two regrets are that I didn't get more of that flavor and my diabetes makes it bad for me to eat them. Mega bummer! Because I would go back and buy entire box of them and freeze them! But although I have to moderate how often I eat them,I definitely plan on going back and I hope they still have that one!!! Once again.....YUMMMMMMMYYY!
