Quick Friday night dinner. Pub has just been renovated and looks great. Service was good, and pub (not restaurant!) is dog friendly. The moules were delicious, but the sausages were a little dry.

Rooms were really clean and the service was excellent! Came down to try the fish and chips and was really impressed with how friendly and welcoming the atmosphere was. Would 💯 recommend to anyone considering staying here.

Lovely pub. I discover the Poretti bier it’s very nice and the barman is very friendly.

Went for an early evening Saturday pint. Nice choice of local beers. And a nice crowd in that night.

Sunday pm, hungry after a hike, needed roast and quick. On the table 10 mins after sitting down awesome. 'Real' roast potatoes too. Expected 2 x veg dishes not one but plenty for four. No probs.

What a lovely pub and restaurant! Food was amazing, good portion sizes, home cooked, reasonably priced! 3 course Sunday dinner for £24!!!! Was beautiful. Staff were very friendly, was a lovely atmosphere too. See you soon 😊

Lovely place. Food is amazing, good selection of beers. And Amy, who served us our lovely fish and chips was excellent!

This modestly-sized pub restaurant has a dining area at one end that looks out onto the sea, and a pub area that meets the road. Parking was a doddle and there was a friendly welcome. We sought a fish lunch, on a day trip from West Kent. The food was a little slow in coming but the chips were amazing, the peas buttery and the fish good, There were some interesting prints on the walls about the area during WWII, and afterwards it was a one minute walk to the sea to stretch the legs before driving home.
There is not much to criticise, but if I had to, I would say the piped acoustic pop music got a bit depressing after an hour or so, and the ambience was a teeny weeny bit twee, though the whole of Sandgate could be perhaps be described that way? The red shades over the wall lamps were a bit odd, but I’d imagine it is very cosy on a cold winter’s night for the locals!

So me and my family have eaten here a few times and the food is amazing, cooked to perfection and well presented. Friendly staff and happy to help. We sat on roof terrace is the sun over looking the sea, one of the best places in folkestone with stunning views of the sea. My family and I will defo be coming back.

Cozy with a warm welcome, we didn't eat but the restaurant looked lovely and has beautiful views of the beach. The upstairs terrace is a lovely place to have a drink while taking in the scenery. It was a bit chilly and overcast when we went so I would love to visit again when the sun is shining, the only downside for me was parking, it was on street and would be difficult on a busier day so I would suggest a taxi.
