Ihop

The reason for my 1 star review is the over all employee, management service. Wish I could give them a zero! I called in on Mother’s Day ordered a family breakfast feast for my wife and mother in law to surprise them with a some breakfast in bed with their favorite not so favorite breakfast place anymore, well to start off Ihops phone connection is trash sounds like they are under water, second off all The person handling the phone orders name is angel, as I proceed to order, Angel up sells me on cheese on top of the eggs.. missing upon opening.. then I get there to pick up my order and I Chk the bag , I ask Angel are you sure this is it because from my view and can clearly see that it did not look like 8 pancakes it was only 4 but he assured me everything was there. I get home no cheese that you up selled me on.. and surprise missing pancakes thanks ihop for helping me with Mother’s Day, Then I call them to let them know what the issue was. They told that me corporate was going to refund me my money .. to this date I haven’t heard a thing. I will never step foot inside one of these wretched places again.

Waited about 15 minutes at 2am, with no other customers seated eating, before being addressed and seated. You literally have to ask for ketchup, salt, pepper, jelly, etc. because none is automatically accommodated for you. 2 people order coffee and no pitcher is brought out to you... just one small mug.. food is to be determined...

It was super busy but our server was pretty good. Had to wait 30+ mins to get seated but once we were, food came fairly quick. There was def too much strawberry syrup on my pancakes but i didn't mind so much. Was able to substitute a couple of things. The fruit was surprisingly pretty sweet and fresh.

Came in the early morning hours and the staff was really friendly and patient. Unfortunately I know they are way over worked and under staffed. Could see it in their eyes and yet they still have great service and the food was really delicious. Don't go if you can't be patient with a skeleton crew doing what they can. But, the food and friendly service was great and will definitely be looking forward to coming back soon.

Do NOT EAT HERE!!!! THEY HAVE ROACHES! I'm not talking about those big roaches. I'm talking about those German infest the restaurant drag their balls all over the food roaches. And when we told an employee about it he just threw it in the trash. He didn't kill it. Great now that roach is going to climb back out and end up giving someone a free meal. We didn't even get a chance to eat there this all happened at the front of the waiting area. So imagine what happens in the back. Good luck to those brave souls still venturing into this establishment. UPDATE we went down the street to Hays Co BBQ. Awesome place definitely worth going back to. Just don't come to this particular IHOP.

I have eaten at I Hop many times but was very disappointed in the whole experience. We waited 40 min. for our food and after we finally got it we had to ask for silverware, butter,syrup, etc. We ask to speak to the manager but he or she never came to our table. I will say the pancakes were good but the rest of food was cold. Hope they can get things straightened out. So disappointed !!
