I had to leave a review because I was so satisfied with the food and service here. I went to Hiro with my Mom and felt so happy to see her enjoy the food here. The side dishes were so FRESH and DELICIOUS. The Kalbi soup and Bibimbap were way beyond our expectations. By tasting the food, I was able to tell how much effort they put in to prepare this food. I am thankful for this restaurant's presence. I hope many people visit this restaurant so that we can continue to enjoy their quality food. It's prestigious Korean traditional food.

I was looking at their menu and noticed they had ginseng chicken soup, a healthy meal that isn't offered many places. I was excited to try this place. I usually go to K. Grill down the street, but Hiro offers different Korean dishes whereas K. Grill focuses more on tofu soup. We came on a Saturday night and it was fairly empty inside. It's really spacious inside, with many tables. We ordered the chicken ginseng soup, bimbambap, pancake, kalbi, and the korean army stew. Everything was great! I think we were most impressed with the ginseng soup as not many places offer it. It was super tasty and healthy. It even came with a ginseng root. The korean army stew was also great for sharing. It is a bit smaller than I anticipated, but I loved the spicy sausage and spam. The pancake was a great appetizer and was cooked really well. They give a generous amount of kalbi and tasted really good!! Hiro is a great new find and I can't wait to come back. They are also open for shelter in place so I would highly recommend trying this place out!

Seen this place but haven't tried it before, being that it used to be dinner-only. But they have lunch hours now too, so decided to give it a try. The space is large and comfortable, plenty of spaces between seatings. Service is courteous and quick, plating is quick as well. Presentation is great, the iron plates are quite impressive. The taste is quite good. Seafood pancake is nice and crispy, the seafood ingredients plentiful. The stone bibimbap is flavorful and colorful. Adding any kind of protein is equally pricey, which doesn't make much sense. Does tofu cost as much as beef? All in all would be happy to come back and try the Japanese dishes and nontraditional Korean dishes.

Hiro is hands down the best Korean food in the Bay Area and I'm an avid Korean food eater. They have delectable dishes and great service and interesting traditional Asian interior design. Their bibambap and dubu jjigae has hearty portions, tastes fresh, and very satiating. I often get a Ramune soda to go with the dish. Honestly, this place should be much more bumping and popular! I try to come here whenever the bibambap craze hits me.

Super good food! Got the Korean army stew and was hearty and delicious. Service was fun to talk to and very attentive. Very laid-back atmosphere, though a tad expensive ($15 for the army stew)

I came here with my friend last Friday night and we got seated within minutes which was nice! Parking was a bit hassle in that area but if you're lucky you may find one in the back parking lot like we did lol. We ordered the japchae, bulgogi fries, and Korean braised short ribs! Surely enough, we were stuffed by the end of the night. Out of the three, I think the bulgogi fries were my favorite. The japchae was good but it was a it oily to me but definitely flavorful. The Korean braised short ribs were flavorful and it came a small bowl of rice (FYI: Only available on Friday/Saturday's). The bulgogi fries were to die for. The meat was flavorful and all the other toppings were delicious. Overall, we had a great time at the restaurant and we'd definitely would come back again to try other things on the menu!
