Torchys Tacos

First of all, thanks to the manager Mike, for taking care of me. Mike and his waitress, seemed to really care about helping me with me app credits when I forgot to scan. Torchy’s has some of the most flavorful and interesting tacos. They are not your typical, average taco. Very unique. …and their names are no different, Hogfather, Democrat (my favorite), Trailer Park, and secret menu options, like “Trashy”. As good as the tacos is, what I think is the best queso I’ve ever had! Order the queso “hillbilly style” and it’s even better with some chorizo mixed in. Highly recommended!

Hadn't been in years and did not disappoint. However, the cashier appeared to not want to be there, bored, no real interaction and wasn't helpful at all. Update: was in the area so decided to give another shot. Tacos, of course, were wonderful. Never had their barbacoa before - did not disappoint as it was unique in flavor and texture. This time, counter employee was friendly, smiling, helpful and engaging.

Unique taco types; custom names and menu listed ingredients, with calorie count included. Pork, chicken tenders, beef, bbq beef etc. Taco order is one Taco served in basket. Nacho combos are separate and unique. It's counter service to order and get drink, wait for food delivery. 10+ cocktails offered..

A Texas staple that I wish was available country-wide. Their tacos never disappoint, and their queso is addicting. This location is prime real estate at the Rim, and honestly competes with some of the “fancier” restaurants is the area in terms of food quality. The atmosphere isn’t bad either. Great casual date vibes.

Torchys tacos are pretty good. My favorite is the marinated chicken taco, and it is really delicious. Some of the other options are ok. For instance, the chicken tender taco and shrimp taco are ok. I would recommend other places for tacos, to be honest. Also, the price is outrageous for what you get. It's not a bad place and I would recommend to others to try them since they have some unique options.

We had high expectations. We travel full time as taco connoisseurs and had to try Torchy's after many recommendations. Out of the 5 tacos we got, 2 we're very mediocre and the other three were half decent but nothing extraordinary. The queso was very good though. I'm sorry, but Velvet Taco's still has you beat.

Torchys Tacos is what it's called, yes.. I finally went La Cantera to enjoy this. Keywords: Taste, Class and Style. You'll enjoy the varieties, and the Democrat was awesome. The chip and dip was very awesome, however, I think it's definitely overpriced. Customers should be made to know the cost while urging them to try it out. Overall, I'll definitely say my experience was great, and I'll definitely visit again. I'll rate this place a 5-Star if not for the wait, and the taco were a bit cold when it finally arrived our table. Please hit the like button on this review for more.
