Table Five .08

I have been here several times. Always have enjoyed the atmosphere. Food is very good. Drinks are prepared by an exceptional artist with more personality than a full season of Seinfeld episodes. Great exposure and location in Downtown Salem. Close the Theaters! (Yes plural). Great asset to Salem. Our hostess was cheerful, happy and nice! Thank you.

This lovely establishment was in a very nice setting in downtown Salem. I will say that Jake our wonderful server made this a 5 star review. Such considerate and genuine conversations, it really can make any dinner experience with good service a 5 star night! Recommend the burger and Rosemary Seasalt fries! Shout out to the Spanish Coffee as well!

Had a great evening and Table FIVE 08 did a wonderful job of hosting our wedding reception. The family all enjoyed their meal and the waiter was quick and attentive. We brought along cake and champagne and they were happy to serve it for us. Pictured here is the "Shot in a Beer" drink from the menu. I was expecting it might just come in a normal cocktail glass, but this was fun too.

Our hotel recommended Table Five 08 for dinner and we weren't disappointed. It is a nice downtown setting with a bar area and dining area. The service was very good--friendly, helpful, and attentive. The drink list included several interesting looking cocktails, some regional beers and an extensive wine list, mostly by the bottle but several by the glass. Interestingly, if you don't finish a bottle they will re-cork it with argon to keep it fresh to take home. The food menu had interesting choices and variety. The food we ordered arrived promptly, with a nice presentation and tasted good. Our server helped with wine recommendations to pair with our meals and the pairing worked well. The noise level was quite loud. There was fairly loud background music which encouraged louder conversation from all the diners and which made comfortable conversation nearly impossible. If it wasn't for the noise level this would be a spot I'd be eager to return to.

I brought my daughter in for dinner. Neither of us were impressed. 🙄 The pickled beets on the burger we're not pickled beets, they were bland, canned and a flavorless disappointment. The Rosemary fries were good unfortunately all of our fries came to the table cold. The pickled eggs were close to being okay but for the price, ridiculous! The lemon curd cheesecake was very good and the best thing it we had. My daughter did enjoy the macaroni and cheese. All in all we probably won't be back since our server had better things to do then take our order. The majority of our food was Small and Unsatisfactory. I tried to order a couple more things on the menu. We like to try a variety when we go out. I had not let on to the waiter I was unhappy. When he finally came to the table he gave us a "humph" attitude, I said I'm ready for the check. Not a place I would recommend to my friends and family when they come to visit. ☹️
