Dos Coyotes Border Cafe

Dana and I sometimes will go for dinner here. I want to recognize Matt. He is a manager there. Everytime we go there, he sees us and always greets us by name. We don't usually run into managers that take the time to say hi and actually remember who we are. We do appreciate his hospitality. Thank you Matt!

It was Taco 🌮 Tuesday and Dos Coyote’s did not disappoint. The carne asada tacos were delicious. The meat was tender and they were generous portions. It even came with chips. The salsa bar served a variety of salsa which they also included onions lime/lemon and cilantro. It was also well maintained. The manager was sweeping when I came in, which shows that they take pride in keeping the place clean. 👍🏽 Restrooms were also clean. My overall experience was pretty awesome and will continue to dine here again.

Dos coyotes is a Sacramento hometown gem. I have been enjoying Dos since I was a kid and the food has never disappointed me and the staff at all the locations are always friendly and helpful. My current favorite is a the ranchero enchilada plate with cheese and with black beans and rice on the side. I always smother the plate in the salsa verde. The salsa verde is sweet and unlike any other I’ve ever tasted. If you go, get the ranchero sauce, it’s the best!!! I used to get the border burrito smothered in ranchero sauce and believe me, these burritos are HUGE, you may have to share. Crunchy tacos are also great and the Yucatán salad is also yummy! You really can’t go wrong with Dos 💛
