The money here is made of linen paper like app American dollars. I was expecting to see the unique change, and be presented with "star bucks" when the cashier handed back the change. Instead it's regular money. I've been searching my whole life for a star buck. Maybe it's a star stag?

My first California Starbucks! Super conveniently located from our hotel and they had some of the "Been Here" cups! I got one for my fiance and I :) The drinks came out good and in a reasonable amount of time.

My favorite Starbucks because of Kai and Diego 🖤
Everyone here is polite, but Kai and Diego stand out to me most. They somehow always remember me even though I don't come in often (maybe once a week when they're on mornings?), and greet me or thank me for being patient if there's a huge rush. Which ofc, they never have to apologize for the wait because it's out of their control. Or because I waited too long to send my mobile order 😬
I appreciate that they don't just acknowledge customers but (if they can) will also make little chit chat or "how's your morning going" if you're standing at pick up counter. And nothing intrusive or over the top the way some other baristas at another coffee place does 😂
Even though there is one 3 min from where I am in WSac, I will make the drive out here if I want a little coffee and I'm not working because of these 2! 🖤
