This place always has a waiting time. And there’s reason for it… their food is amazing!
Their staff is friendly and attentive.
Food comes out extremely fast for how busy they are.
Coffee is quite good as well.
Second time here and I will definitely come back.

Wow. Hands down our best breakfast in Austin. Was busy since it's a Saturday morning and there was a 45 minute wait, but it worth it.
They have lots of cool meals you would not normally think of getting. Try this restaurant today. It will soon be one of your awesome favorites.
California omelet - yes please! Delicious.
The best coffee in the city! Soo good.
To top it all off we had an excellent waitress,very friendly and helpful. Definitely a place we'll look forward to visiting again!

Its been to long since I've gone for a meal at Java, and i was instantly reminded of why i need to get back in the habit! Went with my sister for The Java breakfast plate and a 2x2x2 French toast, eggs, and bacon. The coffee is excellent, staff friendly and efficient, food hot and scrumptious. Just doesn't get any better!! They even had sugar free syrup

This is the best breakfast spot I've found in the north Austin area so far.
It is the incarnation of Southern hospitality with great service and tasty food. It feels like I was invited to my grand mother's and she served me my favorite breakfast items!
Coffee is delicious (highly recommend the nutty Irishman), they have both savory and sweet items with specialty items on the black board too.
The cranberry Walnut pancakes were very tasty, everything is fresh and homemade.
The line at the door does not lie, this is truly a great breakfast spot!

Great food and most importantly the coffee was hot and waitresses kept it full with a cup to go. Staff is very friendly. Price is right for this day and time. Highly recommend!

My family ate here while visiting from out of town and we were amazed! Their omelets&eggs&hash browns were the best we've had ever! And their coffee and Chai are 1million times better than Starbucks! Plus their staff are very nice and friendly! If I lived nearby, I would come here regularly!

First time visitor on Father's Day and enjoyed the Steak and Eggs Special being offered that day.

Or first visit to Java café was great. On arrival there was no wait. My omelet was good but I've had better. The hash browns, on the other hand, were the saving grace. They were quite tasty. The service was also good. Our server was quick and efficient and attentive to our needs. I hope to return soon and raise my rating to a 5.
