Mac Mcgee

Came here for an Irish coffee and I would come back here again and again if that was the only thing they sold. Luckily they have a full menu for food and drinks, and every drink and food selection we made did not disappoint. The fries a phenomenal! Sooooo perfect! Their salmon on brown bread was delicious and I want to go back and have a repeat of all there yummy eats! I loved moody ambiance created by the woodwork and stained glass that decorated the entire inside. Overall a fun place to eat, drink and hang out with your friends!

***MUST VISIT*** Can not say enough great things about Mac McGee. I’ve been lucky to have several meals here & bring my Irish & British friends. ALL love the food, atmosphere & service. Definitely ask for Sarah (even tho she’s from Michigan… #GoBucks) or Mgr Nitza! Highly recommend the shep pie, bangers, curry (my English wife’s fav!) & all sandwiches & apps are great too! Don’t forget the beers & cider!!!

Great Irish pub, food was really good and the servings are large. My husband is Irish and said the meatloaf was as good as getting it in Ireland. The Guinness is great too. It was nice and cosy on a cold winters night. Service was a little too attentive- our waitress came to the table at least 10 times in the hour we were there which was slightly annoying. We were asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu while we were still eating our meal so we felt like we were being rushed out. Overall, a lovely place and we'd go back .

Went here for St Patrick's Day, and it was a feast. The pretzel with cheese appetizer was good, and we had bangers and mash and corned beef hash - but mostly because the shepherd's pie was already sold out by 7pm. I can't wait to go back and try the pot roast! They don't really do reservations which is fine and I prefer as nearby restaurants have had me standing or lied about the times to me before. The staff helped me and my lady find a seat and we honestly didn't wait long, maybe 15 mins, in a jam packed house. I really think they've got some of the best bar food around, and plenty of drink options. Love me some Smithwicks. We had a great time and will definitely be back for more!

We were visiting from Chicago. Mac McGees has amazing food, best irish food I've ever had, I wish I had a bigger stomach. Ambiance was very authentic, service was over the top and really made me feel like I was family. Mac McGee's will definitely be a permanent stop when we come to visit. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!! Update: not much has changed. Still love this place and will stop everytime we visit Georgia.
