Sbarro

I love the pizza from Sbarto’s but today I witnessed something that left me very disappointed in them. A man ordered a large pizza and was waiting for it. Fifteen minutes later he was told that they hadn’t made his pizza yet because someone forgot to tell him to make it. So the man just asked to get his money back and forget it. Then they had the nerve to say do you have your receipt. They knew he ordered it and paid for it but they weren’t going to give him his money back because the man couldn’t find the receipt. So, he just said to forget it and walked off. Then the guy who I assumed was the manager bad mouth the guy after he left. He said he shouldn’t have talked to him like that. Very poor taste. They should have offered the man something like a drink or food while he now had to wait longer because his pizza had not been started. And then to request his receipt after the mistake they made was awful. Poor, poor way to have handled this.

They have the BEST red sauce and I don't even like tomato sauces lol. Also, DeAnthony is the best! He was very nicely dressed, well kept and put together. He was polite, patient, and courteous with myself and my wife! We offered him a tip, but he advised he was unable to accept tips... So, I want to make sure everyone knows what a wonderful employee he is! He deserves a raise!!! He is the best, EVER!!!! Thanks for a great experience, DeAnthony!!!

I usually enjoy this place, but the staff seems terrible. I called to check on prices to place an order later for a couple of pizzas. A guy answered the phone, said "Nope" and hung after I said "Good afternoon." I called back a few minutes later and someone else (female maybe?) answered with "Yeah." After explaining that I was just hung up on and wanted to ask about prices, her response was "k..." I've never been so disrespected by employees and won't be giving them business again.
