Del Taco

Ordered a bean & cheese burrito no sauce extra cheese and a large fry. The below picture was the fries right out of the bag 1/2 full. I paid for a large got a small. Burrito had red sauce. Went back through and they told me I had to pay again which I didn't. The food here is lousy but we keep trying cause they're closest to home. Most of the time anymore we just drive to Arlington/ Streeter. Food there is mouth watering good.

Unfortunately, I should have known better. I stopped going here a few years ago but thought I would give it a try again. Still has the same problems as it used to: cold food, slow service, employees that hate their job and have no problem letting you know, and funny tasting ice. Too bad. I really wanted this location to be better.

Used to be a great deal but due to a recent significant price hike, I no longer think it's a good deal for the quality of the food which to be honest fluctuates depending on who's making your food. Sometimes you get hardly any meat or filling. In that sense, I wish they were more like McDonald's and standardized everything... Anyway, that is more of an issue with most del tacos. What I'm saying is that it's now too expensive to take that gamble.

The building was small and eerily quiet. While I was there, no music played so I ate in silence. The food was mediocre compared to any other Del Taco I've been to. I ordered a single turkey taco and constantly had to wipe the "juice" that was running down my arm. I've never had that happen to me before.. Aside from the "juice", my taco tasted off. I also got shot by the ice machine. I'm not sure what I did but I got attacked by ice cubes. It wasn't very fun. Honestly, the weird tasting root beer got me more pumped than my overall experience. Cause now I'm itching to know what the inside of their soda machine looks like.
