Bocci's Italian Bistro

My friends and I LOVED this place. It was recommended to us by our Uber driver James and we are so glad he told us about it. It was priced fairly and the food was amazing. Our server Ion (not sure if that spelling is correct but that’s what our receipt said) was very nice and attentive. Will definitely come back if I’m ever in Savannah again!

This folks, is an authentic Italian Restaurant. The food is every bit as good, if not better, than any of the best in large, cosmopolitan US cities. The food is prepared from scratch, and more importantly, with love. The heart this chef puts into his dishes is obvious in every bite. We have tried a dozen of the dishes, each one is a perfect blend of flavors. Can't even say there is a favorite, each one is spectacular in it's own right. The bread is amazing. And I don't know what the lady was saying about the bruschetta. It is some of the best I have ever had and obviously handmade. AND, always 4 pieces. (Her driver must have ate hers.) And portions are generous. I have NEVER finished a full plate, (as much as I would love to) and always have more than enough left for lunch the next day. (Also, had the spaghetti bowl tonight, and with the salad and bread, half of the bowl was more than enough to fill me up!!) Anyway, I would rather pay a little more to have wonderful food and service than to even eat for free at some of the other ''Italian' places around here. Hands down my favorite place to eat in Coastal Georgia :)

What a wonderful surprise. While traveling from NY state home to Gainesville FL, we overnighted off I-95 at Richmond Hill, GA. Hungry and tired we surveyed the internet and Bocci's looked promising. We hit the jackpot and had delicious meals with perfectly baked bread, delicious salads and wine. My marinara gnocchi was like that made by an Italian Nonna. After dinner, the owner, from Naples, greeted us and brought a sampling of his personal limoncello. The room is cozy with red walls and glorious recordings of Italian jazz singers. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and very well versed in all the dishes. Our only suggestion is to add more vegetable dishes for vegans and vegetarians. Thanks to all for a wonderful meal.
