Fish Shack

This local establishment is a rare treat for a taste of the coast for me and my significant other with it being close to our place of worship the commute was amicable ,with a wide variety of sea life to partake in. the array of options are a festival for the taste buds to placate even the pickiest of eaters . Our order consisted of a plethora of items ranging from fried catfish to calamari with sides of onion rings , and fish shacks signature gumbo ,hush puppies ,even a seldom seen grouper po boy all the comfort of southern seafood in one establishment the catfish and shrimp were divine as well as the po boy of not to often seen grouper I highly recommend the fried dishes with everything being cooked to perfection you should choose this as your next seafood destination . Our wait staff was extremely courteous and attentive to our order and responsive to our request the one caveat of our lunch dining experience was our table placement being too small if you are dining with more than two people request the larger table as their main tables are extremely tiny for a table of 4 we were plate to plate and elbow to Elbow if I were the manager of the restaurant I would get slightly larger tables to accommodate more people and disabled parties , one respite was their hard to find hot sauce that paired exceedingly well with every dish provided . For food 5/5 for seating 2/5 overall I recommend choosing this place for your next seafood excursion just be sure your seating arrangements are able to support your dining party.

Seafood day with the hubby. Running a red snapper special which I was looking forward to but I may have stricken out. It was very dry so it may be that it was fried too long...it also didnt have much flavor. Just salt and pepper would of worked. Ordered fried shrimp Basket and it didn't disappoint. The shrimp cocktail and charbroiled oysters were very good as well. Very nice friendly staff with good vibes. Good place to catch the games on the weekend as they had 9 screens with sports. All in all good place maybe it wasn't a red snapper kind of day.

This individually owned restaurant is a very popular and reasonably priced seafood place. In the photo attached is my managers and my food order from Fish Shack. We both enjoyed it very much. This establishment is kept very clean, and prepares their food items under very strict and sanitary conditions. Their health department score is around 96, and this is EXCELLENT. Last but not least, courteous service and very good operating standards. The owner himself is very nice to everyone, along with the staff members. He sets a good example of people skills and restaurant ownership.

This is my first time here so knowing his to order is a learning experience and I was first in a long line behind me so to many questions wasn't the right time. So I ordered the Grant Platter which is just boiled shrimp a crab with potatoes and corn...but it has no seasoning other that what the young lady dashed on there and that the calamari wasn't seasoned enough but I do know the next time I go in I'll know how to order my food and order it right. So not bad just know how to order. I going back!!!!☺👌
