We had the chicken fried steak & chicken and dumplings. The chicken fried steak and gravy was great! But the chicken and dumplings weren’t super good. The chicken was just really bland and in huge chunks. But I’ll definitely be back for the chicken fried steak. They also have a full bar & a patio which is a big plus

Food was really good prices good. Very slow. Didn't get to order til we were here thirty minutes already didn't get our food til we were here a hour. Two hours til we got to pay and go. It's not even very busy in here to take so long. Will come back just cause of the food. Wish we had seen our waitress more. She didn't even hear our appetizer order so didn't get that til 45 mins in.

We were Immediately met with a smile from Jon at the front, so that was a good start. He also looked like a cool Viking so points there too . Our server (Lee) was phenomenal and very personable, while being helpful too. The manager (Kathleen) came by to politely check on us, love when a manger enjoys her job enough to check how everyone at the restaurant is enjoying their food. We got the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, fried okra and mac n cheese. Every bite of it was delicious and nothing got left on the plates. So good . I love the mom and pop restaurants for good comfort food and this one will be one of my new favorites.

Home cooking comfort food. Meat loaf, roast beef, chicken fried steak, pork, and 9 changing up daily sides. Cobbler of the day. Great deserts. Save room. Friendly staff in a clean nostalgic environment. Real hit with the older crowd numerous senior and smaller portions lunch menu. Most around $8.99. Fairly quiet atmosphere, okay for a conversation.
