Taco Bell

Nice food, unfortunately not much chicken in the dishes, plenty of salad though. Chips had a peculiar taste, were only lukewarm unfortunately. No ketchup available either. I was expecting a crunchy taco, but it was actually rather soggy, quite disappointing. The Taco Bell in Southampton is much better.

As people who have all worked in fast food and hospitality, we are super understanding especially when they offer to correct it. One of our quesadillas had barely any cheese and when we requested to have more they said “ you see that yellow stuff, it’s cheese” among other snarky comments. They didn’t even offer to allow us to buy more cheese as an add on. Another one of us who ordered had their meal given to another customer by accident in which they didn’t notice until it was brought up. The replacement was also the incorrect order but we didn’t want to go up to complain again considering how disrespectful they where.

Food is alright for a fast food place, and the staff are lovely. Unfortunately last time I went they were out of several items, and most of the order machines were not working so we had to wait around for a while. Ordering online is not much better in my experience, food was not ready despite ordering almost an hour in advance. Having said that, it's cheap and in a convenient place, and I would probably go again anyway.

Very friendly staff, great tasting tacos. For a fast food joint, it is very nice. My only gripe would be not much (or anything?) on the menu for vegetarians. The staff did help by making a bespoke taco, replacing meat with beans and that was good. It's a city centre location, so you have to find a place to park around somewhere, that's not very easy. The restaurant has a unisex toilet.
